Scottish Borders Health and Social Care Partnership has published the locality plans for the Berwickshire, Cheviot, Eildon, Teviot & Liddesdale and Tweeddale areas.
The plans set out the way in which health and social care services will be delivered across the five localities.
They have been developed to take into account a number of factors including the increasing demand for services due to a rise in the population over the age of 65, an increasing pressure on resources, changing service user expectations and the desire to improve health and social care experiences.
The plans are available to download at: www.scotborders.gov.uk/HSCPLocalityPlans.
Paper copies are available for reference in public libraries and health centres across the Borders or on request from the Health and Social Care Team on 01835 825080 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
