The Scottish Government has launched a public consultation on its draft Fuel Poverty Strategy and wants to hear your views.
A workshop for community groups and third sector organisations in the Scottish Borders that work with people in fuel poverty will be held at Old Gala House in Galashiels on Wednesday 17th January, from 6pm-8pm.
The workshop will bring together community groups and third sector organisations to discuss and create responses to the draft strategy. The session will be run by Home Energy Scotland and will explain how your community can influence the fuel poverty policy.
During the event, you will:
- learn how to create effective, individual responses to the consultation
- find out more about the fuel poverty strategy and the policy context
- take part in an interactive session to discuss the views of community groups.
This event is taking place once, but Home Energy Scotland can also organise one-to-one sessions with community groups.
