Award winning Eyemouth social enterprise ReTweed is hosting an information session at 10am on Tuesday 20th March for potential trainees.
The project offers a free 11-week free training programme for women facing barriers to progressing their lives or careers. It aims to advance learning and skills development, particularly for the benefit of women who experience isolation or exclusion in Berwickshire.
The March session is to give potential participants the information about the course and run a series of short interviews with women who are interested in taking part. It will take place at Eyemouth Community Centre in Albert Road.
ReTweed’s spring training course will run every Tuesday (all day) for 11 weeks, from 17th April. It open to women who are looking for a step on the road to a new future.
The social enterprise uses the focus of creative industry as a means to teach new skills, provide social connectedness and help women make progress in their lives and careers.
The women Retweed works with move on into positive destinations like education, employment, volunteering and enterprise.
