Re-Tweed is recruiting for its next 11-week training course, which starts on Tuesday 15th January. The courses aim to advance learning and skills development, particularly for the benefit of women who experience isolation or exclusion in Berwickshire.
The course will run every Tuesday (all day) for 11 sessions, from 15th January until the end of March.
The training programme is Craft, Design and Technology and is aligned to the Vocational Qualification (VQ) in Fashion & Textiles at Level 4/5.
It is open to women who are looking for a step on the road to a new future. Re-Tweed uses the focus of creative industry as a means to teach new skills, provide social connections and to help women make progress in their lives and careers.
The women it works with move into education, employment, volunteering and enterprise.
