Nominations are now open for the 2018 National Youth Work Awards, which celebrate youth work and the youth workers who make a difference in the lives of young people every year.
Organised by YouthLink Scotland, they are aimed at individual youth workers, managers, projects or groups that deliver high-quality youth work in a variety of settings. In 2018, the awards will reflect Year of Young People themes as well as youth work’s contribution to employability, attainment and health.
There are two versions of the nomination form this year to encourage more submissions by young people. One is for practitioners/adults to nominate and the other is for young people to use.
Deadline for nominations is 5pm on Monday, 22nd January. The finalists will be announced the week beginning 5th February, and the awards dinner will take place on Thursday 15th March in Glasgow.
